Leasing Inquiries (Prospective Renters)
Prospective renters who inquire about a property are not asked to sign a written agreement. Instead, consent is captured through a verifiable double opt-in:
- Website inquiry form — Prospect submits a contact or property inquiry form on rossmanrentals.com that includes an unchecked SMS consent checkbox with full CTIA-compliant disclosures (message frequency, rates, STOP/HELP, not a condition of rental, links to Privacy Policy and SMS Terms).
- Confirmation text — Before sending any other message, we send a single confirmation text identifying Rossman Realty and the property the prospect inquired about, asking them to reply YES to opt in. No further messages are sent unless the prospect replies YES.
Prospects who reach us through third-party rental marketplaces (e.g., Zillow Rental Manager, Apartments.com) are treated as inquiries only and must complete the same double opt-in confirmation before receiving additional messages.
